TENNOZ CANAL FES returns to Tokyo’s waterfront for three days of art, music, film, food and creative experiences. Set around the canals of Tennozu Isle, the festival brings together exhibitions, live performances, workshops, markets and activities for all ages. This edition explores the intersection of traditional Japanese festivals and contemporary art through a special collaboration with Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten, a long-established maker of festival equipment. Highlights include an exhibition inspired by Japanese matsuri, live music aboard a boat featuring Takkyu Ishino and Kan Sano (Band Set), outdoor film screenings, an art market, street food and craft workshops. Visitors can also discover independent makers at the HOME MADE market, enjoy comedy performances and take part in family-friendly science and creative activities. With multiple venues spread throughout the waterfront district, the festival offers a lively way to experience Tokyo’s art, culture and community.
