Traces of Being presents a series of photographs by BADAY exploring fragments of encounters between the photographer and the world. Rather than placing the photographer at the center, the images reveal his presence indirectly through landscapes, fleeting scenes, obscured faces, objects and traces of everyday life. Together, they form a series of incidental self-portraits, offering quiet evidence of where he was, what he noticed and the moments he chose to capture.
