September 25 - 27

The design festival “Featured Projects 2026” will be held for three days, from Friday, September 25, 2026, to Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Kokuyo Co., Ltd.’s Tokyo Shinagawa Office, “THE CAMPUS.” Making comprehensive use of THE CAMPUS as the venue, the festival will feature a diverse range of programs—including talk sessions, workshops, meetups, roundtable discussions, and live performances—all centered on the 2026 theme, “The ‘Interval’ in Which Things Are Born,” and incorporating current design trends. Newly confirmed speakers for the talk sessions and performers for the live performances include: Takuya Koyama, guitarist and vocalist for the band “Yabai T-Shirt-ya,” who is also active as a composer and filmmaker; Noriko Kawakami (journalist | Associate Director at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT), who serves as Vice Chair of the 2026 Good Design Award jury; Yuma Harada (designer | Representative of UMA/design farm); and Niina Ai (Sony Music Entertainment Echoes artist), whose work centers on animation—including the production and art direction of the music video for YOASOBI’s “Yoru ni Kakeru”— and Taiku Okamoto (graphic designer / video director), who gained attention for producing music videos for Gen Hoshino’s “Star” and “Ikidomari” as well as the title logo for the TV Tokyo Music Festival—among others, ranging from leading professionals to up-and-coming young creators—are scheduled to participate.
