CASSETTE WEEK MARKET 2026 is a one-day celebration of cassette culture bringing together around 20 specialist cassette, record and audio shops at WPÜ HOTEL SHINJUKU. Alongside the market, visitors can explore cassette players, analog media and related goods, take part in hands-on workshops, recording sessions and listening comparisons, and enjoy cassette and vinyl DJ sets throughout the day. The 2026 edition also marks 60 years since cassette tapes began domestic production in Japan, making it a special year for discovering the past, present and future of the format.
