ARTE TOKYO × NIGHT MUSEUM 2026

Experience Tokyo's museums after dark with ARTE TOKYO × NIGHT MUSEUM, a special late-opening programme bringing together 39 museums and cultural institutions across the city. Taking place on two evenings in November, the initiative invites visitors to explore exhibitions and collections beyond regular daytime hours. Participating venues include major institutions such as the National Art Center, Tokyo, the National Museum of Western Art, the Tokyo National Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, alongside smaller specialist museums and galleries. Some venues will also host special mini-concerts in collaboration with musicians and cultural organisations, adding live music to the evening museum experience. With each institution offering its own exhibitions, atmosphere and schedule, visitors can plan an evening around their interests and discover a different side of Tokyo's cultural scene.
