Tokyo Art Beat is bringing its community offline for the first time with ART BEAT FLEA-MARKET, a one-day market for people interested in art, design and culture. Taking place at New Gallery in Jimbocho, the event brings together artists, curators, designers, editors and other creative people, each offering a personal selection of items. Browse ZINEs, art books, second-hand clothing, original goods, everyday objects and more, with finds that reflect the individual tastes and interests of the people behind each stall. More than just a place to shop, the market aims to create an informal space for visitors and exhibitors to meet, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives on the creative community. Tokyo Art Beat staff will also be bringing items from their own collections, alongside original Tokyo Art Beat merchandise.
